Just checked on BCN to see how it's going now that the gold price is riding high, and I noticed that the 2024 AISC is shown as $2,891, when the AISC for all four quarters during 2024 was significantly higher than $2,891, so I'm guessing that the true figure for the year was actually $3,891, which is at the very high end of production costs and which would explain the low share price.

Despite that, the overall picture for BCN appears to be significantly more promising than when I last had a look at it, and if the gold price continues at anywhere near current levels (and it appears set to go higher) this little miner with its own mill appears to be on the cusp of a much better performance, particularly if they have some success with their drilling programme.

I believe that all small gold miners with their own processing plants are set for a strong bull run this year and into 2026, so I'll be watching BCN very closely. 2.6 cents might look like an absolute bargain in a few months.
