I've been in another gold company that got bought out and there were no protections in place. We got sold for a shit price to a Chinese company. I think we got a small percentage premium on the share price. It wasn't nearly as good as if the company had continued to trade as it was. They ended up going public again about three years later at a massive premium.... It was frustrating, but the directors agreed to it, and the little guy was outnumbered.
