Ann certainly has not sparked any excitement in trading today....there has been none! The fact that Atlas has decided to stump up cash to progress the JV on Mt Dove is good news though, but perhaps offset by the news that their Fortescue Island play might have less material to scoop up. Instead there appears to be more bedrock iron than originally though. I'd like to hear their opinion on how environmental approvals are going for that project, and how they might mine the area if it did turn out to be high volume and high grade? It is not so easy mining in 10 m of water! If there was a feasible way of doing this then cool, might be worth exploring the area further, but if not, isn't it just a bit of a waste of time? Good to hear that preliminary exploration will occur on the channel iron prospect this qtr though, at least they will be doing some of their own exploration for the first time in ages and that might generate some excitement.
