If you recall, the heron farm in was first divulged via ENI Europe. Meo announced the next morning.

I'm guessing the same modus operandi with the drill results.

To keep the pecking order it is possible MEO will give a (lite) progress report as promised tomorrow, however, after closing. The real detail may be in the ENI presentation later that evening, hence pecking order preserved, and, as promised the info is out prior to the SPP cutoff.
