Desperate times indeed. Telling that you are seemingly now talking that MEO's days are numbers as you flew the flag for MEO for so long.
New MD is a good move ( not before time) and he has made some obviously needed cost cutting decisions and seems to be a straight shooter clearing the decks that for too long were talked up by previous management. He talks of positioning the company to survive and thrive - obviously long suffering shareholders are desperate to hear his actual strategy (which would seemingly involve a merger of some type - certainly not MOG!!). Telling now that the company share price is trading well below it's implied carried forwar tax losses - clearly no producing majors are interested in our prospects/supposed assets.
Keen to get some strategic direction from management. Possibly Even more fat to trim??
