The story would've been simpler if Alameda-1 only encountered 5 meters of net pay. Then poke another couple of straws in and the field would be developed and we'd all be happy.
Too bad for us though we have nearly a kilometer of net pay, a serendipitous multi-billion barrel upper sheet discovery and the geoscience thesis proving correct with light oil pouring over the shakers at high pressure from the lower sheets
What should be a timeframe for developing is now a timeframe just to test how big this is
