Interesting to see that the Cuba Energy Summit (originally scheduled to be held in Cuba from 4th to 6th December 2024 in Havana, and then rescheduled to 3rd and 4th April 2025 in Havana) is now scheduled to take place between 13th and 15th October 2025 in Madrid, Spain.

Is it a coincidence that MAY Energia Espana SL. is registered in Madrid?; and that Principal Officer Hector Castro Santana was educated in Havana before relocating to Espanol? Is it also a coincidence [tongue in cheek comment here] that the Cuba Energy Summit, scheduled for December 2024 may (pun intended) take place in October 2025? Is AP in charge of scheduling?

I see that Melbana are slated to give a presentation on the morning of Day#3 of the conference (15th October 2025) titled "Melbana Block 9 Unlocking Cuba's full Onshore potential". At this stage the Agenda (available from In-Vr Conferences - worth keeping in touch with young Lucia over there) simply states that the presentation will cover "Recent appraisal outcomes for Melbana Energy Onshore Projects: Alameda 2 and Alameda-1, Oil Exploration Wells in Cuba's block" (and yes, that's all she wrote).

The conference is organised by CUPET, and this time both Melbana and Sonangol are listed as "Co-Hosts" (not simply sponsors, which include wanna-be-explorer Petro Australis).

Come October, Melabana needs to have runs on the board. More precisely, the Board needs to have runs on the board. The First Strike received at the AGM on 19th November 2024 is likely to be repeated at the 2025 AGM if AP and the boys fail to produce the oily rabbit out of the hat by then, resulting in a probable Board spill and the ousting of junior (non-equity) directors. Accordingly, between now and October expect to see some decent pumping, either of oil or the share price.
