It would help the conversation if personal insults were not traded.
I would say:
.
1) Just because a person is good numerically does not mean that they cannot be good emotionally or at arts etc.
.
2) A lot of highly paid people employed in trading are good numerically, in fact a requirement for many professionally starting trading positions is being good numerically and hence they are be tested in that...so why would trading companies do that.
.
3)A lot of billionaire investors are good numerically.
.
4) It is a fallacy that those that are good with numbers must be emotional unintelligent, this is a fallacy so numerically challenged dont feel bad about themselves.
.
5) you only have to look at the results of those that trade by emotions versus those that hold their emotions in check if the share price falls . Being good numerically, Not getting emotionally distraught if the price falls and putting in the effort to research the company, macro conditions all increases chance's of profit. To check for the emotional unintelligent just count the frequency of them attacking the company or CEO when the price falls and look how calm they are when the price is steady.
6) Looking at world data historical past performance on price and fundamentals, economic metrics you can clearly see patterns that can help in shortlisting companies thus increasing profits.
.
So your statement regarding sector not being relevant at small market cap size can be tested for its validity
This is a calculation based on historical fact, and you cant argue with that historically ..end of story.
Good luck with you trading CreditDumness.
