I think they IPOed so some early investors can cash out their holdings, like Walker did.That's probably why a lot of companies went public. Also, I think for a medical device company, a public company sounds better to potential partners than a private company
I have to say AT1 IPOed at a great time, they probably won't get the same valuation they did if they go public now.
