With regard to Medicare, I spoke to someone in the industry recently and they explained that the Medicare rebates are calculated based on the product price....in other words, Medicare rebate pecentages can only be determined once the product is commercialized and pricing is known. So it's not something set up in the early stages of product developent or FDA approval.
