The only thing that is meaningful in a company like this at this stage of its development is whether it can grow its revenue, since it has a product that is in the marketplace.
That revenue growth looks anemic, and if a company needs to grow its revenue by ten times while burning more than $10 M a quarter it needs to grow, and grow really fast (must at least double revenue every year). To be frank (I don't mean to be harsh) partnerships and supporters count for zero, unless they are driving revenue.
I have no idea what the future of this company holds, but I would suggest being under no illusions. If a company is losing money, no matter how promising its technology, it needs to be propped up by new investors. If those investors keep losing money because revenue doesn't grow, they will lose all faith and stop investing, and the company will fold. The ASX is littered with such companies, particularly in the small cap space. No one knows what will happen to 4DX's revenue going forward, maybe it will suddenly skyrocket - it could as revenue is often bumpy.
This is the stage that a lot of investors were expecting 4DX's revenue explode, but it hasn't, and people are valuing the company accordingly. Maybe this is just teething problems that will resolve themselves, but some investors don't want to take that risk and bailed at the first signs of trouble to avoid huge losses. I was one of them, and I could easily be wrong in the long term about this company, but it was a capital preserving exercise. Obviously others are taking the same route.
