Quote in todays MiningNews, "However, iron ore explorer Golden West Resources’ shares lost nearly 15% or 25c to close at $1.45 as the drama with shareholder Portman drags on."

IMO, volatility in the GWR share price has and still is being initiated by Portman and their friends by their continued actions - surely with the resounding defeat of their quassi-takeover tactics by valid vote that any court action is now a waste of valuable resources and time.

One would of thought that Portman would of notified the market this morning of the withdrawal of the court action in accordance with the shareholder vote below:

Resolution 4 - Appointment of Director - Mr Richard Mehan
    For 6,508,244
    Against 59,998,703

With 798,513 shares being traded in a stock that is considered to be illiquid, it would be interesting to find out if Portman has taken advantage of todays downward share price and volume increase instigated by their continued proceedings in regards to the EGM vote.

If that is the case, then IMO that is sharemarket manipulation and yet again demonstrates their intentions to all other GWR shareholders.

Once again and as predicted bye bye Portman and buy buy buy GWR.
