I think you're right about them trying stuff - I think if their ad revenue was holding up better this would be a better story but the gap is really hurting them at >$200k per quarter. The customer growth is solid without being great. The advantage of subscription revenue like Rentpay is that it comes in over time so is consistent but the problem with subscription revenue for RNT right now is that it comes in over time so new customers don't equal meaningful new dollars straight away.
Slow burner this one - hope they can avoid raising in the near future
