Recently bought a VW EV myself. Technically it can do V2H I believe, but understand that there are still regulatory issues here. When these are resolved I will look at it, probably together with rooftop solar. Wasn’t factored into my purchase.
My understanding is that the trickle charging and discharging in battery mid-charge range typically associated with V2H isn’t an issue for battery life. It’s using fast chargers excessively, and charging above 80% that the manufacturers advise against.
