No. The principle I was respectfully asking you to uphold isn't just my "own moral principles" as your reference suggests.

Its more in line with this one - number 3 in the HotCopper Posting Guidelines.



I still don't want to report you for breaching terms of use because I still don't want to use censorship if moral reasoning can work. All I want you to do is what the standard (in this case
the guideline) suggest we all do.

Clearly I did not invent the standard or expectation that posters should not post into threads to disrupt them.

You really aren't giving me a lot of good choices here. I really don't like censorship and I really would prefer you choose to do the right thing (ie not deliberately post off-topic into threads when you've been specifically requested not to do that) because its the right thing but some sociopaths just won't - your could be one of those.

I hope you aren't but really if you don't respond to reason how can I know? And really why should social groups carry freeloaders who disrespect people and claim to be beating their own drum?

Model rule breaking convincingly enough to me and I might be persuaded that you have a point or others may be and deny you the protection of the rules.

What do you prefer that I do? Report you? Continue discussion? Put you on a hunt list to see which of us gets to make a drum out of the others body parts to beat to our own preferred rhythm?

What's the sapiens part of your brain (sociopath or not) suggesting is the smart play for you here?

Maybe you want to report this post and get us both suspended - all I actually want from you is
that you not post off topic in a thread to disrupt it but that you do post stuff that interests you and is not on topic in one thread in another thread.

Its sort of live and let live. Not much but too much for some. Some just have to kill or die it seems. In the face of that type I'd chose kill be forewarned about that about me as would many people with some self respect that would rather reason and cooperate given that choice.
