I asked this exact question to Dr T (at the other forum) and he confirmed the 10 includes the P1b - so they’ve effectively recruited and treated “at least” 4 patients in the P2 trial.

According to the Simons 2-Stage trial design, it means they need to recruit at least another 5 patients (total 9) before we can expect an interim report on efficacy.

I actually expected patient recruitment to be faster given the very positive results in the P1b - however, it just reinforces how crowded the AML clinical trial space is.

The fact they are still recruiting and we’ve had no news - remember no news is good news - then, I expect more positive news from the trial when it eventually reports perhaps in a few months time.

In the mean time, it would be great to see progress on opening the European sites and hopefully an expansion into the US for the EMD AML/MDS trial in the near future - preferably with a partner!
