True, we have plenty of upcoming updates to be excited about:

• Biomarkers research and CDx (Dan Dominissini),
• New Zantrene formulations (Mary Ranson),
• Screening against 100 cancers
• And of course continuation of Zantrene mouse studies of mechanism of action, synergies (Nikki Verills),
• Etc.

But, this is all pre-clinical and, I would argue, only a continuation of all the positive news we received in the past 2 years. None of the past preclinical announcements led to a partnership. It has long been argued that we need to sit on compelling + clinical data to attracts partners. How will any of the above be different?

Now, on the clinical front, we have Chaim Sheba. FTO is not an actual endpoint of the trial, and limited patient population, so I expect any clinical data (due soon) would not be "compelling". We also have EML AMD with FTO an actual endpoint, but there are difficulties enrolling patients and the trial results are years away. Based on this, I would not expect any interim data until late 2023 or 2024.

I was originally hoping for partnerships to kick-off H1-2023. I think it is key to a potential transaction to happen by 2024-2025. It is also key to demonstrate Zantrene's value and negotiate a better outcome. Does the above mean we are heading for a further delayed transaction and/or lesser potential buyout value? I would love to be proven wrong on this...

Any thoughts on that anyone?
