SO if you are a holder of CYP and going to post regularly, up the quality. Senselessly arguing with holders and non-holders spitefully, does no one, long or short, any favours....the final directors notices were already issued on Ross. You either ignored them or missed them. We lost one spiteful antagonist on here who argued with everyone, we don't need another.

As for sacked or not, its a futile and pointless argument. It makes no difference to the company going forward (bar Ross offloading shares in spite) and at the corporate level, people rarely get sacked, they get persuaded to resign and often get a nice payout. Its a different world for executives and often a negotiation for an array of reasons. You have to do something pretty publicly overtly bad to get sacked. You get performance managed out.

Not up to date, but you get the idea on 'not-sacking' trends amongst CEO's that the Harvard business school illustrated in a study, that trend has only continued in the present epoch. Executives get persuaded out, to the net benefit of the company and the individual in terms of exposure....no executive wants to get publicly one gets sacked, and nor does the business, unless its is the business' interest to do so very publicly and loudly to display the company's excellent and continued sound governance, moral stance, etc - embezzlement, predatory behaviour, etc.

Boards have learnt, the public firing of a CEO is a glaring signal to the markets of their own governance failures....unless its used as a tool to show their prompt governance oversight.
