The one thing about this is that they said in that announcement

"This technical issue has quickly been identified during detailed analysis and is resolvable going forward with no delays to current timelines as detailed below"

I think the reason for its delay was there was alot of other test results pending (the non-platform lot) and they were at that time first scaling.

The fact is that was identified quickly - i.e not in the 2 months, perhaps almost immediately but since there were other results it could be bundled and not as bad of an outcome.

The same i don't think is true now, there is nothing other than PL4 just like with PL3 - if it didn't work we would be hearing about it as there wouldn't be a reason to delay that info - i think this is why they updated about PL3 so fast in comparison.
