It is for sale.....that is a given. If a firm buy this as is now or wth further development. Further development is to continue until procurement happens by a house hold name hopefully, that is a given.
But straight from the horses mouth(no offence Dave buddy), it could all be wrapped up at any moment, I believed him when this was said in good faith.
So, no it should not be twelve month if PL6(20nm) is proven to work, they will partner with the acquiring firm after it is sold to help this new wonder fit and work with future technologies.
One thing I think a lot of people are missing is that this chip isn't a plug n play in current available household tech, that all needs new frame(?) work to enable the 4ds product to work in the phones, etc. And that is where the word partnership is conjured from, but the partner(s) will acquire us outright for top dollar, not a lesser amount than top dollar it deserves.
We can be produced in any current fab and that is our bonus for attracting buyers.
So hold on and expect a faster ride from now on.
That quarterly release was two weeks earlier than usual for a reason.......They have started testing, no bad reports, Dave going to Cali and PL6 going as planned, and Tings plan was, "It is straight forward, all we do is make it smaller, That's it"
