Worth remembering, from time to time, that DM hasn’t been at the helm for this whole ride. We’ve had JD and the Drs WvdH as chairmen before him and GA as CEO. the timeline carrot was dangled by them all, DM is just the latest iteration.
A lot of the criticism of him on here is well founded, but also a lot of it is him being the scapegoat for the approach taken by predecessors (and continued by him)
