But using your same logic, you need to compare apples with apples here.
If you are comparing future contracts of YOJ with GSW, you should also consider future contracts of GSW (until we see actual delivery numbers its all heresy)
Current Quarterly deliveries of GSW Q4 2017= 1.2 Million deliveries
Current Quarterly deliveries of YOG Q4 2017= 4000 deliveries
Even at Prospectus, when GSW was 20c it was delivering more than 30x the amount of deliveries of YOJ. At current numbers GSW is delivering 100x the number of deliveries to YOJ
Based on Future contracts
YOJ has Schafer, largest contract at 1 million deliveries a month, so if it executes successfully on this, it will say be doing 1.2 Million deliveries a month by end 2018 once rollout completed
GSW: Has Amazon, Yum!, Toast, NA Williams, CBA. They have provided figures of 257 Million deliveries over 5 years for CBA (50 million a year), 1.12 Billion a year for NA Williams, Amazon not disclosed, Yum! 250 Million deliveries a year. based on "future" revenue, GSW has >1.4 Billion Annual deliveries with successful rollouts.
So you need to compare 1 million a year for YOJ with 1.4 Billion with GSW if you are looking at future deliveries. Even if GSW were to achieve 10% of this value you still have a range of 140 to 1400x the amount of deliveries to YOJ...
Also worth noting Pizzahut in Australia have already trialled GSW successfully in Australia, Redrooster have commented they love GSW and use it across every store in Australia. The Yum! Global announcement came off the back of the successful implementation of Pizza Hut locally.
Market trend wise, we know Dominos revolutionised their pizza delivery process with their real time tracking app- and moved to become the second largest pizza chain in Australia. The others, like pizza hut and eagle boys are obviously playing catch up on this technology and both are using GSW. There is a clear trend with fast food joints moving to improve last mile delivery logistics. Caesars is the third largest pizza chain in the US (which has 480 million population) and wants to get 400 stores in Australia by year end, and they have signed up to using GSW in Australia so far... so you can definitely see a trend in pizza chains and fast foods.
There is obviously the scandal news about GSW and CBA, are contracts real etc, and these reports have merit, I am waiting for latest news that was meant to come out yesterday from GSW with PWC help.
I am a supporter of GSW and YOJ in terms of the technology, last mile delivery.... its definitely happening... like electric vehicles, there is so much momentum, everyone is more and more time poor and expect convenience of delivery with online purchasing. Pizza hut and Dominos both claim in their annual report online orders and home deliveries are their fastest growing segment.
