I lost a packet on RFN. My biggest loss to date. Made every mistake in the book. Bought in well after the ipo, bought more in the euphoria, bought more at the top then watched in disbelief at every step in the SP decline. I was reeled in by the constant announcements of huge companies. So at 0.26 I sold the remains of my holding with an 80% loss, but bought a stock with a 0.25 SP, that's now 0.26. I have an equivalent number of shares in a new stock that's I my view got a chance of reaching my previous average in RFN. Yes its speculative at that price and yes it crystalizes a very big loss, but I have a new focus, no longer get depressed at seeing a huge loss in my portfolio and hold a stock with better growth prospects. just my approach. may not be every ones .
