Once upon a time, there was a goose that laid golden eggs. It laid one egg each day, and the farmer who owned the goose was happy and prosperous.

But the farmer grew greedy, and thought: since the goose lays a golden egg every day, it must be entirely FULL of gold!

So he killed the goose that laid the golden eggs, but the goose was only an ordinary goose inside, and there was no gold there.

And since he had killed the goose that laid the golden eggs, there were no more golden eggs to be had, and he soon became poor once more.


It's fun sitting here watching the worms kill there goose, I however will feed mine well and fatten him up.
