It really is a shame that ICE has gone away from innovation and is now using open source technology that is available to all of its competitors.
Additionally, since listing, the lack of increase in cameras is disappointing as well. Assuming they have 15,000 cameras from the available market of 1 Billion globally, this only gives them 0.000015% market share, which makes the lack of camera count growth a real head scratcher.
Another observation is that ICE shares seem to increase in value 3 to 4 business days before a loss making quarter. Could of course, just be a punt from investors on it being positive financials. History seems to show plenty of activity in the lead up to releasing financials.
I would assume that without some serious new deals and claiming the kitchen sink for R&D tax rebate, there will be a raise of some variety to keep them financial post next 2 quarters.
