I'm counting myself lucky that I made the crazy decision to exit during the AFR hype and only re-entered yesterday as it made the decision to exit psychologically much easier.

I have held Dropsuite for almost 3 years and considered it my favorite investment, I have great respect for Charif and wish the best for him and current shareholders, hopefully I will be rejoining the bandwagon in 6 months' time at a higher price. Sorry to be so negative, I just think it's only fair to be consistent in sharing my thoughts as it seems many have been following and appreciating my posts. I'll be interested to hear others' considered thoughts on Microsoft Vs Dropsuite.

Charif addressed this point at length during the call. They've known about it for quite a while and he didn't think it would play in a different space compared to them.

While it's a competitor, they don't directly compete with this offer. Reason being is that while being a backup service, it's not a true disaster recovery solution given your backup is held in Azure

If your admin account were to be hacked, they would have access to the M365 backup as well

The DSE solution backs it up to AWS, which means it's segregated and therefore, more "secure"

In addition, he mentioned the MS solution is 2-3x more expensive than that of DSE
