LOL, I think you mean Trump caved on the tariffs? All Canada has to do is relocate training and military exercises—that were likely already scheduled—to border areas. Have a read of what's been agreed to; it's totally inconsequential nonsense.
Mexico is doing the same, shifting forces that are already deployed elsewhere in Mexico to the north. Almost no fentanyl crosses the Canadian border (roughly a backpack’s worth last year), so Canadian troops will mostly be standing around. Meanwhile, Mexico’s military is so rife with corruption that moving 10,000 troops north could actually help cartel trafficking for all we know.
It’s all just a big show to appease one bloke's fragile ego.
Meanwhile the tariffs remain on the Chinese, ands this happens to be the only country that has shown any strategic interest in AGY (via ATL). Hope that works out.......
