I think they know they can control the head grade to pump out max gold.
Although they can't supply the bulk tonnes to the plant the can supply high grade to acheive the desired outcome. High grade in - Gold out - Money In - Money out for drilling - Resource up, higher production, more ore in more gold out, more money in.......
