Again, I didn't say it was required, did I? If you're going to carry on about fallacies, it pays to be accurate and understand what the hell you're talking about. Like it or not, pre-production off-takes are an extremely common de-risking tool. You talk about "self funding" but anyone who's genuinely held since 2016 would be aware of the multiple cap raises.
That ain't "self-funding".
