Names and resumes are "submitted" for deliberation
The nominee is then subjected to a panel interview for confirmation
I believe that she was not scheduled for that interview
Not sure why
But technically, I believe she must be "reappointed" by the President before the next session of Congress
For face-saving purposes, I think she will be reappointed by the President
It will be up to Congress to affirm or reject or bypass her then
The former DENR Secretary was reappointed and bypassed thrice before getting reaffirmed
