There is no Perth Yacht Club. On Australia II drive there is Royal Perth Yacht Club and Mounts Bay Sailing Club, plus sea scouts right on the end of the peninsula.
I should know, only been sailing since I was about 6 years old.
Wouldn't suprise me if he is a member of RPYC. Plenty of tossers there, plenty of good people as well, but they are becoming less and less.
