My loose 'valuation' numbers are also based on a similar company (US based) that Buddy is sometimes compared to, which is 1PG.
In October last year 1PG reached a valuation of $800m after being listed on the ASX for around a year and a half, and they're a fricken recruitment company.
Once Buddy's contract sign ups start rolling in, which is highly likely to happen this year, I think $500m valuation by mid-to-end 2016 is a somewhat reasonable estimate and not 'pie in the sky delusional' type talk.
The IoT sector is still at its infancy, but its potential and the scale is probably difficult to grasp for most people. By 2020, all going well and to plan, I would consider $5b+ market cap for Buddy to be achievable.
Nonetheless it should prove interesting/entertaining to refer back to this post in a few years, and see if I was correct, or just incredibly hopeful/naive![]()
