“AJM is solely responsible for the construction quality and timelines of the project”

Civmec would have their own QA/QC personal onsite to overlook the construction quality, timelines would also be overseen by Civmec’s project manager and supervision, we having meetings everyday to co-ordinate trades and isolated areas.

AJM would have maybe a few representatives on site, I have not read anywhere, that AJM have their own construction personal on site.

They have now hired commissioning personal.

As I stated, construction is Civmec, you would find that when AJM management want to come on site, they would require a visitors pass, and have to do a visitors induction, before entering the site, then be escorted by a Civmec representative at all times.
As I explained, it is a Civmec site, until practical completion or handover, this is the norm for constuction sites, I have personally escorted a owners representative off site and banned him from entering again till handover, reason, inciting industrial action, abusing personal on site, as I stated, it’s the contractors site until handover.

Inclement weather, industrial action, safety issues, plant built offsite, shipping, transport, act of god, etc etc are all built into a contract, quite common for companies to utilise these clauses during construction, to avoid penalties.
On saying that, I have worked on jobs that have had the usual delays, yet have achieved completion before the handover date, the luck of the draw, and the personal on site, play the biggest part of any job.

You say you disagree with the above, yet at the moment in WA, they have Barrow Island and Wheatstone, DYOR on the blowouts on those two jobs alone, it astronomical.

I agree with you that AJM have had a relatively low blowout on the timeframe, but I still feel it’s nothing out of the usual, and they are paying due diligence to getting everything right, before production and sales.

“Controlled transaction” is obviously still getting discussed, out of shareholders hands for the moment, we will have to see what eventuates with Citi, and who throws their hat in the ring, for the moment doesn’t look like anything’s set in stone.

I trust this clears up your issues and concerns.

    TY
