You, however, have implied in earlier posts that AJM is lying about having produced 6% and that the lab they are using is not competent. Do you stand by your implications? Do you have any evidence to support your implication that AJM has lied about producing 6%? and that the lab is incompetent?
The ASX release of 25 July 2018 contained the following statement “Altura has been further encouraged by on-site testing of the first production batch by laboratory operator Intertek. The results have shown a concentrate product grade exceeding the industry benchmark SC6 concentrate specifications and fits comfortably within those required by the Company’s offtake agreements. Further plant optimisation will occur as production is ramped up in coming months.”
SC6 is a market reference for lithium oxide (or spodumene concentrate) generally accepted as containing a minimum content of 6% lithium oxide (Li2O). The process plant commissioning at the Altura Lithium operation is targeting a SC6 product for the life of mine. The testing conducted on site was via the fully commissioned Intertek laboratory utilising the same testing regime for on-site product testing, stockpile
inventory testing and export vessel assay testing.
The Company would like to reiterate that the initial production sample testing is preliminary in nature and cannot be relied upon until a full production reconciliation is completed in the coming months. As the commercial expansion of the project continues and more product sampling is reconciled, the Company will update the market accordingly.
Subsequent to the ASX release of 25 July 2018 a post on the LinkedIn platform stating the concentrate exceeded 6.5% lithium oxide. The update on LinkedIn was made by a company representative that was unaware of the wording in the ASX announcement. The Company requires all wording on any social media platform to be compliant with approved market released information. The LinkedIn post was removed immediately the Company was aware of its content.
