Mmm I'm still not entirely convinced! Though I appreciate the reply.
The difference between 40,588 and 37,500 in concentrate and is worth about $4.5m. At this scale there's no way that rounding errors on their behalf cost them $4.5m. There has to be an error somewhere in either out maths or the figures they've put out!
I really just want to know so I can try work out an estimate for next quarter... The last 2 quarters look like this: With Q4/18 mining 1.5mt and getting 12t in zinc at 47% av. recoveries & With Q1/19 mining 1.4mt and getting 18.5t in zinc at 50% av. recoveries ... Either the math or my understanding of how this all works gets very important. It's almost unreal to think that with 3% increase in recoveries they're able to gain 50% more zinc.
Really hoping someone out there can help me out on this one
