The Green Mountain Results are ok but as far as I understand they were taken right outside the mill just to test their target geology for the presence of gold, hopefully we see higher grades with further drilling, in the prime locations they were unable to access - whenever that might occur.

If all goes well and gold price dependant, once mining begins they could self-fund a wide scale exploration program and prove up the multi-million Oz resource that we are all hoping is there, with only a few months worth of mining needed to raise the required capital. One might wonder though, would they be better waiting a year... If gold is looking to push $3000usd, possibly double of potential profit compared to now - assuming a conservative AISC of $1000us / Oz.

Another possibility could be a merger of some sorts.

This is all in my opinion, I'm not well educated on this, just thoughts. DYOR.

Hopefully one day we see it move from explorer to mining company fingers crossed. It would be great to get an update soon I am guessing the scoping study should shed some light on it, feasibility won't be for a while I would imagine.

One thing that was interesting was the small mention of a possible joint venture and or farm in partner for Udu - Fiji could help to at least get some cash injection into the company to assist with Gold Links. And the board has stated they will only be spending the minimum amount required to retain ownership of the project. Might be only minor in the scheme of things though and not the main focus of the company.

I still think with the price of gold being fore cast over the next 18 months to 24 months Gold Links would find some interest from the US given the state of economic climate. Gold Road Resources (ASX:GOR) did a joint venture with Gold fields on the NYSE.
