they are running the business on a break even basis, ie costs =revenue whilst building a stockpile of product which if they wait will earn them a handsome profit.

Not great if you want a quick return but if you are patient enough could deliver a huge return. I will be waiting and if I can will look to top up if the SP drops to 2c.

Q) for someone that knows this sector well: How many other iron ore producers are also stockpiling?

When the day comes that iron ore demand recovers significantly - will the market be saturated from suppliers having done the same as Tombador, thereby it taking longer for the excess to work through the system to poc. and prices to rise to a profitable level...?
