However:I've held this stock for years.
- The first statement is a fact.
- the second has an opinion and thus a speculative element.
At various times and for various elements of ( it's not been a monolithic regime) lost faith in management roughly corresponding to how much I've held.
As far as I'm concerned, there are two largely competing elements:As a core tenet of efficient market theory, it's all in the current price. At the moment sentiment is a significant swing factor (it always is in speculative stocks).
- the prospective opportunity from the assets.
- The belief in management's ability to deliver.
All IMVHO.
