I saw similar behaviour with Neu in the run up to approval of their drug. Went to high 9s during review then pulled back to mid 7s closer to the expected announcement. Came in positive. Disappointingly went to 9s for the first few days post approval then surged further and now solidly high 13s mid 14s. There wasn't a financial announcement like there has been for AVH but I feel there's some manipulation but also just a lot of derisking profit taking in case of a negative result.
