Agree, but it shouldn’t ? Yes, an increasing dividend will fire up investors, but continued good metrics, good ROC, and an increase in EPS would be preferable. After all, if the company can make a better return on the “cash” that it would have given in dividends, we may have to wait, but that would result in a sounder company with more retained profits for “other uses”. I wonder what the plan is once debt is completely retired ?
