Not wrong, but maybe not clear to you Rob. If I show it this way you might follow more easily: This is the average recovery for production during the last week only on the bar chart.
Where we were for the last week on the chart
969oz GE/wk = Au 890 + Ag 5538 (79GE)
Equivalent to 89.5% throughput (or 89.5tph) @ 60.7% recovery
I am very aware 100tph ceased a long time ago so I am using throughput of 89.5 tph and for the last week of data on the bar chart and I am saying they got a recovery rate of 60.7% which is very satisfying.
The 52% recovery you mention would be the average for maybe the 10 weeks shown on the chart – or perhaps the 3 weeks of this quarter.
Your mention of the next week producing similar ounces to the 969oz week strengthens my belief that 850oz is too conservative and that 950oz looks a realistic average to expect now.
The 2Moz stranded refractory ore in DR sounds very interesting. It could very well provide a good solution by blending with existing LL ore to dilute the negative aspects.
