Pure speculation on my part, but I have been keeping an eye on development at Goldquest's project at Romero in the DR. If you spend some time going through the information it fits like a glove IMO. They have a well advanced project with a lot of gold, we have a plant that can accept a high grade concentrate for a number of years.
Win, win IMO... DR government have two projects working i.e. royalties, employment and taxes etc. remain in the DR , import licence is no longer required. Capex could be an issue however.
