Hey Tone76, I agree with you.
Zip does seem more supportive of the retailer than Afterpay, it charges the merchant lower fees than APT and transfers the money Zip pay money from the customer sale to the retailer at the end of the business day, (Afterpay takes a few days to return transactions to the merchants). Both services then deal with chasing up the customer so the merchant doesn’t have to.
Of course, Zip Pay isn’t the holy grail and Afterpay does have a couple one ups on Zip Pay, but I still think Zip Pay shares are better value and have a better business model than APT.
