They are different and the main difference that appeals to me is RNT is using fintech and adapting to customer needs

Everyone keeps hammering on about getting in the agents good books or "RNT needs them or it will fail"
The way I see it
Uber did not need the taxi industry support/approval
Airbnb did not need the hotel industry support/approval
Netflix did not need the entertainment industry support/approval
BNPL - a tricky one but now the banks are signing deals to work with them

The point is if their product can give 'do it yourself' landlords all the financial support that agents traditionally give for a far cheaper cost ($8 per month compared to 5% agent fees) why wouldn't they use RNT services, I feel if RentPay works well and agents see a loss in revenue they will be signing deals.

Yes the agents do more than the financial background like visiting the property for inspections, however when RNT is up and running the landlords will have the history of the renters and can make a decision based on it.
Alike Uber and Airbnb wont let you use their services if you have low ratings, this filters out suitable/unsuitable potential tenants.

I know this is very speculative considering the stage of development we are at but it ticks a lot of boxes for me

I like it especially all the comparisons to other services which we have, assumably, used once or twice.

Currently the rental scene in WA I know is at an all time high with renters struggling to find homes due to Covid. https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/amp.abc.net.au/article/13067954

I look forward to the next few months with RentPay coming online and word of mouth if all is a success this will spread like wild fire.
