The Directors might not have been paid but they will be accrued somewhere in the management accts post the balance date. The moment there is a new deal, cap raising, replacement executive etc etc they will magically appear. Not an uneducated rant as you claim, just an observer of the behaviours of directors and management of small cap companies in these type of situations.
