How does Eshuys have a controlling interest? I don’t think DGO have enough shares in DCN for that.
My point was that DGO could have exited NTM or DCN after the merger. Instead they are topping up their stake in DCN in the latest cash call. They’re betting on an operational turnaround with DCN, more than an exploration story (although I get that DCN needs to find gold on NTM land to have a chance of a decent recovery in the DCN share price).
Holding DCN adds a new level of risk and it is not quite in step with the brownfield/greenfield exploration strategy that they have been pitching,
