I’m not sure you’ve thought this one through real well thommo. How is it that retail should’ve “backed their company” when they’ve been shafted at every turn by brokers/insto’s? Any SPP crumbs along the way have been massively oversubscribed, yet, when there’s a scapegoat required, you guessed it, “retail”. Retail HAVE backed their company wherever they’ve been included, why on earth should they now pay almost twice the current price, to dig the company out of a hole that’s been created by the big end of town and their shortsighted greed. Was it retail selling us down post discovery? Was it retail selling us down pre RI? Was it retail stacking the sell side with 8 million plus shares recently? I don’t see insto’s putting their hand up for the shortfall, we haven’t even seen the company directors tip in for it. Exactly why the F should retail be left to sort this out?
