The shorters didn't know about 'this'. I'm not sure how you think they access secret information. In my view the situation here is that most major lithium players are trying to get economies of scale by drilling out a big deposit and building a single long-life mine. Core are obviously doing a different approach, trying to mine a bunch of smaller satellite deposits around a central mill, each mine which'll require repeat work. That's their strategy and fair enough - but it doesn't take too much deep thinking to realise that's going to make it higher cost; when you combine that with an adverse weather location and a bit of a shift in lithium sentiment, put this on the radar of short money. Each to their own, but that's it, in my opinion - a bit of logic and deduction. No dark hands at work, although HotCopper seems to prefer the latter as an explanation. Cheers
