I didn't know the strike rate of Ophir, may I say you cannot get better than 100% no matter how hard you go, actually it is quite remarkable.
When you consider the technology and if you have the right people interpreting the data such as Stein et, al I am of the view the odds are better than even money. Link this to 105 & 120, to past performance of Stein et al, 3D Data, Known gas fields under 25km away (block 105), ENI experience & technical support, CONOCO find in 2012 with low CO2 and it is a compeling case.
You are right this is be derisked so far it is rediculous, KC could not have done any more. Which supports why NEN is so excited with the spudding of 105.
As I have said before there is always a risk but on this one it is a speck on the horizon, compared to other companies I have been involved in who by comparisson were high risk and still got there.
Happy as a pig in mud with NEN and where it is at.
