I suspect that the ASX has asked for some sort of scientific verification for this announcement.

It is possible the Ann was a bit lite on the scientific side of things? Perhaps it had to go back to a lab for independent analysis/verification of some sort.

I also wonder why previous announcements have said the suspension was due to an announcement about an acquisition? Now its about Covid detection?

"Further to the Company’s request for voluntary trading halt on Wednesday, 18 November 2020, the Company is not in a position to make an announcement at this time, and requests a voluntary suspension, pending an announcement on the completion of a material acquisition (“Material Acquisition” as referenced in the Company’s trading halt request."

Are they buying a company who has technology related to Covid19?
